Meet The 2026 TAG Awards For B2B Innovation Winners
B2B innovation doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.
Behind the products, platforms, systems, and services that keep businesses moving are companies solving complicated problems, improving how work gets done, creating new efficiencies, and finding better ways to serve customers.
The 2026 TAG Awards for B2B Innovation were created to recognize those companies.
This year’s innovators represent what happens when innovation moves beyond an idea and into the real world. They are building technology, improving processes, solving operational challenges, and creating measurable value for the businesses and people they serve.
The judging went beyond asking, Is it new?
The 2026 judges looked at innovation, design, value, impact, and execution to understand not only what each company built, but why it matters and how effectively it is being put to work.
The result is a group of B2B innovators spanning healthcare, medical technology, enterprise software, automation, and more. Their solutions may be very different, but they have one thing in common: they are making business better.

Medtronic – TOP INNOVATOR
Symplicity Spyral™ Renal Denervation System
For millions of people, controlling high blood pressure remains a challenge even with lifestyle changes and medication.
Medtronic’s Symplicity Spyral™ Renal Denervation System offers another option.
The minimally invasive, catheter-based system uses precisely controlled radiofrequency energy to target renal nerves that can contribute to high blood pressure. Designed to complement medication and lifestyle modifications, the procedure provides an “always-on” therapeutic approach rather than relying entirely on daily medication adherence.
The technology represents more than a new device. It is the result of more than 15 years of research, development, engineering, and clinical work aimed at addressing a major unmet need in hypertension care.
More than 30,000 patients have been treated globally, according to the nomination. Clinical studies have demonstrated mean reductions of more than 9 mmHg in office systolic blood pressure, while real-world data have shown sustained reductions at three years.
In October 2025, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services finalized national Medicare coverage for the Symplicity Spyral system for eligible patients with uncontrolled hypertension, marking an important step in expanding access to the procedure.
Judge Anthony Lopez called Symplicity Spyral an impressive combination of medical innovation, thoughtful engineering, and disciplined long-term execution, highlighting its clinical evidence, safety profile, global adoption, and Medicare coverage.
Congratulations to Medtronic on being named the 2026 TAG Awards Top Innovator for Symplicity Spyral™!

Codonics
Perioperative Medication Safety Platform
Codonics is rethinking how medication moves through the operating room.
Its Perioperative Medication Safety Platform connects medication preparation, anesthesia cart inventory, electronic administration documentation, and controlled-substance waste and reconciliation. The platform is designed to turn routine clinical actions into reliable data events without adding unnecessary steps for the clinicians delivering care.
The scale is significant. Codonics technology is used in more than 1,200 hospitals and 16,400 operating rooms worldwide, with more than 23,000 SLS units sold and more than 281 million medication preparations supported. The company reports more than 2.1 million medication errors prevented.
Its newest addition, Safe Waste System™ (SWS), extends that connected approach into controlled-substance waste. Designed to identify, measure, assay, render waste non-retrievable, document, and report the event in under seven seconds, SWS addresses a long-standing gap between what happens at the point of care and what pharmacy needs for reconciliation.
Judge Anthony Lopez called Codonics an impressive combination of “thoughtful design, practical innovation, and measurable impact,” pointing specifically to the way its technology connects anesthesia, pharmacy, inventory, and EHR data rather than creating another standalone process.
Congratulations to Codonics on being recognized as a 2026 TAG Awards for B2B Innovation Winner!
Enovis
Enovis Healthcare Solutions
Healthcare operations can become complicated quickly when clinical workflows, DME management, insurance verification, inventory, documentation, and patient finances all live in different systems.
Enovis Healthcare Solutions is bringing those pieces together.
Through technologies including MotionMD®, VeriPro®, and OaraScore®, Enovis has created an integrated platform that helps orthopedic practices automate DME operations, manage documentation and inventory, verify insurance benefits, estimate patient responsibility, and support more informed decisions.
The platform now supports more than 4,300 care sites, has facilitated more than 12 million patient agreements, delivered more than 732,000 insurance benefit checks, and generated more than $136 million in patient responsibility estimates.
One of the most meaningful aspects of the platform is its focus on financial transparency. By bringing insurance and estimated patient responsibility information into the workflow before care is delivered, Enovis helps providers have better-informed conversations with patients while reducing some of the uncertainty surrounding healthcare costs.
The judges also recognized the strength of Enovis’ implementation at scale. Anthony Lopez highlighted the platform’s ability to connect clinical workflow, DME management, insurance verification, and patient financial transparency within a unified environment.
Congratulations to Enovis Healthcare Solutions on your 2026 TAG Awards for B2B InnovationWin!
Organ Recovery Systems
LifePort Kidney Transporter
When a donated kidney is traveling from donor to recipient, there is no room for unnecessary risk.
Organ Recovery Systems has spent more than two decades developing technology designed to actively preserve donor kidneys during that journey. Its LifePort Kidney Transporter uses hypothermic machine perfusion to circulate preservation solution through the kidney rather than relying solely on static cold storage.
The system also brings connectivity into the process. Its Remote Monitoring and Tracking platform provides transplant teams with live information about the organ’s location and critical perfusion parameters, including flow, pressure, and temperature.
Today, LifePort has helped preserve more than 275,000 donor kidneys and is used by more than 400 transplant programs in 49 countries. The technology is also supported by 10-year clinical follow-up data published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
But perhaps the best illustration of the technology’s value comes from the real-world moments when something doesn’t go according to plan. ORS’ 24/7 Perfusion Helpline and remote video support have helped transplant professionals troubleshoot difficult situations involving donor anatomy, perfusion flow, and long-distance transportation.
Judge Anthony Lopez highlighted LifePort’s evolution from an organ preservation device into a connected platform providing real-time visibility into both organ location and perfusion parameters.
Congratulations to Organ Recovery Systems on being recognized as a 2026 TAG Awards B2B Innovation Winner!
Ascent Business Solutions
Flow Nexus – Enterprise Transformation
Some of the biggest opportunities for business improvement are hiding in the least glamorous places: invoices, approvals, reconciliations, spreadsheets, emails, and repetitive back-office tasks.
Ascent Business Solutions built Flow Nexus to tackle exactly that.
Flow Nexus is an RPA-enabled enterprise process automation framework that brings together software bots, workflow orchestration, business rules, ERP integration, automated validation, reconciliation, security, and digital audit trails.
Instead of automating isolated tasks, the platform is designed to connect entire processes. Approvals, exceptions, escalations, SLAs, validations, and data movement can be managed within the workflow, replacing email-driven coordination with system-driven accountability.
The reported results are significant: 35% FTE productivity improvements, approximately 60% reductions in processing and cycle times, and $2 million in client-signed benefits, including $500,000 realized within the first six months.
Flow Nexus is also designed with the future in mind. Its modular architecture can adapt as businesses, processes, and technologies change, creating a foundation for future AI-assisted decision-making and predictive analytics.
Judge Anthony Lopez noted the strength of bringing RPA, workflow orchestration, business rules, ERP connectivity, and governance together rather than relying on isolated automation.
Judge Clay Schwabe summed up one of the platform’s most interesting opportunities: “Being future ready is such a key talking point that I suggest is a major campaign focus!”
Congratulations to Ascent Business Solutions on being recognized as a 2026 B2B Innovation TAG Awards Winner!
Innovation Worth Recognizing
The companies recognized through the 2026 TAG Awards for B2b Innovation are working in very different worlds.
One is making medication data safer and more connected in the operating room. One is helping orthopedic practices bring clinical and financial workflows together. One is changing how donated kidneys are preserved and monitored during transport. One is opening another path for patients with uncontrolled hypertension. And one is rethinking how businesses automate the work happening behind the scenes.
Different problems.
Different technologies.
Different industries.
But the same underlying idea: innovation has to do something.
It has to solve a problem. It has to create value. And, ultimately, it has to work for the people who depend on it.
That is what the TAG Awards are built to recognize.
The 2026 judges evaluated these innovations through multiple lenses, looking at design, value, impact, and execution rather than simply asking whether something was new. The result is a group of companies whose work demonstrates that innovation can take many forms, from a medical device to a software platform to a completely different way of connecting existing systems.
And this is only part of the story!
STAY TUNED to hear directly from this year’s winners and celebrate the people behind the innovations on TAG’D Beyond the Award!
Congratulations to all of our 2026 TAG Awards Winners!
We are proud to recognize the work you’re doing and even more interested in seeing where you take it next!
